In this talk, two academics from the Centre for DLT at the University of Malta will delve into the importance of multidisciplinary teams when it comes to crypto- and blockchain-related solutions.
Challenges in the crypto- and blockchain-related spaces are typically solved from the perspective of a single discipline - e.g. the law tries to fit decentralisation into existing legal structures; technological efficient solutions are proposed that often lack usability; and economic incentive mechanisms are developed that do not align with technical realities. This talk will involve an exploration of challenges the space have seen with respect to siloed approaches, and dive into interdisciplinary solutions that are crucial for eventual mass adoption.
The event will be held in conjunction with the Malta Blockchain Summer School (sponsored by Simply Staking) and will serve as a networking opportunity for professionals, academics, students, and anyone interested in the crypto- and blockchain-related fields to make more connections in the sector.
Join us for an insightful discussion that promises to broaden your understanding of the collaborative efforts needed to advance the blockchain ecosystem.
